The editing technique that was used in this video is quick cuts in the beginning to match with the upbeat music. They have also fast forwarded some sections of the video to create time lapse. This has been mainly used in places where there is a big crowd like the library, café and the street. Continuity editing was used to maintain the flow of the video along with some transitions like dissolve added here and there. Slow motions were also featured to create a dynamic effect.

Establishing shot was used to show the buildings and the college. Close up was used to show the student's happy expression. Tilt was used to show the student's face from the book. Pan was used to pan from building to building. Tracking shot was used in the beginning when the girl was introducing herself through the narration. The camera zoomed out during the near end from a med long shot to a long shot of the ground.
Function/ Purpose
The purpose of this video was to promote the college to the Year 11's by showing a student's daily life at the college to give them a glimpse of what's it like to study in there, and what sort of subjects and facilities are available on the site.
Target Audience
The target audience for this video would be Year 11's of Hampshire schools as they are at the age where they have to decide where to go next.
Is it successful in your opinion?
In my opinion, this video was sort of successful at achieving it's purpose but not fully. Since, it failed to showcase all of the subjects that are available and only focused on the subjects that the girl was studying and so, we only got to see and got informed about the subjects that she studies.
